Helpful. I started planning my dream trip to Africa a year ago and was so confused by all the different things to do and places to see and how to coordinate it all. A friend got me in contact with Blue Lilac in February, and having never worked with a tour company before I thought that it would probably be too much and not worth…I was way wrong! I did a side by side analysis of their quote and what it would take to do things myself (but obviously not as good or thorough as I don’t have their knowledge). And and it was almost the same price for me to do it that way. So point for them…they keep it affordable. Next they really worked one on one with me to make the trip what I really wanted and dreamed about. Another point for them….easy to work with. Next I always had A LOT of questions as I was preparing for this trip. Edna at Blue Lilac was always quick to reply, and so helpful. She was even able to help when I was nervous that my Tanzania visa wasn’t going to come in time. Two more points for over the top help! Packing lists, lists of things to prepare, you name it, they helped out. Next came the trip itself. Blue lilac put together my dream vacation and the transfers, guides, accommodations, EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations. Our family consists of me, my husband and 3 kids ages 10,13 and 15. They planned the perfect trip the kept every one of us engaged and happy. 5 points for them. The friendly service and personal touches have won us over and made us feel like friends and family. Very warm and welcoming and very insight sharing during the entire safari. I very much enjoyed our safari to the Nairobi national park. The tour guide took us to all the spots where we could spot wildlife and was always sharing insights on the wildlife- I left the safari more relaxed and more knowledgeable.

Magical experience in the heart of Nairobi’s National Park. I did a morning safari with Blue Lilac Tours and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Kenya. Edna, the coordinator, was incredibly responsive and helped us plan everything around our afternoon flight, timing was spot on. Our guide, Teddy, made the experience unforgettable. He was kind, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what he does. We were lucky to see three of the Big Five (rhino, buffalo, and lion), and many more, and watching such incredible wildlife just meters away from us, so close, was something magical I’ll never forget. The contrast of nature and city skyline also made the safari even more surreal. After the safari, we also visited the Giraffe Center, which was the perfect way to end the experience, getting up close and feeding the Rothschild giraffes was both exciting and touching. They are adorable! The whole experience was smooth, exciting, and thoughtfully organized. I’d absolutely recommend Blue Lilac to anyone visiting Nairobi.

Responsive. While in Nairobi for a business conference, I was able to arrange for an overnight trip to Amboseli National Park. Blue Lilac was very accommodating to find something that worked for my schedule my guide, Sebastian was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable, very friendly and perhaps even very lucky as we were able to see everything I had hoped for in Amboseli. The highlight was our sunrise game drive.

A very memorable and novel experience. Africa tour is irreplaceable. Pretty good in general. Big Sebastian is an experienced guide and good driver，introducing every animal we met in the journey. He was very patient so we were able to coordinate time & place and solved many issues. Guide with a sense of boundaries made our trip easy and chill. Also the price is relatively fair. Though we pay extra off-road fee in Masai, it perhaps is given to the park.
