We just returned from a 6 night / 7 day private safari with Blue Lilac Tours, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish.
Edna was responsive, professional, and so easy to work with. She answered all of our questions promptly, and she helped us craft an itinerary that was perfect for us. The planning process felt collaborative and stress-free.
Once on safari, we were in the very capable hands of our guide and driver, Boniface. He was knowledgeable, warm, and truly exceptional at spotting wildlife. Because we were on a private safari, he was also incredibly flexible and happy to adjust plans based on our interests and requests, which made the experience feel personal and unhurried.
We also felt that the value was outstanding. Before booking, I received a quote from a “luxury” safari company that was nearly twice the price — and interestingly, it included two of the same four lodges that were on our Blue Lilac itinerary. That really put things into perspective. We felt we received an exceptional, high-quality experience without paying an inflated premium simply for a label.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organized, customized, and truly special safari experience.

I had the best experience ever going to the Nairobi National Park with Blue Lilac Tours & Travel. The team was especially informative..I even got to know that we have the special five in addition to the big five! And the driver maneuvered the trails with ease and expertise.. what's more he was so well informed. I got to know the difference between an Impala and gazelle. There were snacks on board to ensure our sugar levels were okay. To crown it all there was nyama choma after the long awesome drive. I can't wait for my next adventure with Blue Lilac Tours..... indeed my BEST travel partner!
