Tour Plan

Day 1 Pick Up Point: Nairobi

Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel at 0700hrs and drive north to Samburu National Reserve to arrive at around 1300 hours in time for lunch at Samburu Game Lodge. Afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the Special 5 and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Approx. Transit time: 6 hrs.

Day 2 Samburu

Full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu is a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional activities include a visit to a local Samburu village, camel riding and guided nature and bird walks. All meals and overnight at Samburu Game Lodge.

Day 3 Samburu / Nairobi

After breakfast proceed for a game drive en route Nairobi to arrive in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight home. End of services.
