Tour Plan
Depart from Nairobi drive towards Lake Nakuru, to the base of the Rift Valley. This kick starts your expedition to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check into your Lodge, from where you have a perfect view of Lake Nakuru’s beauty, ideal for bird watching. Prepare for the afternoon game drive where you are likely to see more of the birds, water-bucks, rhino, reticulated giraffe and many more species. At the end of the drive, retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Have an early morning breakfast, before setting out for the new day’s activities. Drive through the great rift valley, having sight of the extinct volcanoes, to the popular Maasai Mara land. This is a wildlife reserve where the Maasai tribe is found. Maasai Mara is Kenya’s commonest reserve, known for the wildebeest. Start off your afternoon game drive seeking out the “Big-5.” These include elephants, Rhinos, Leopards, Lions and Buffalos. After the drive, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Wake up to an early morning breakfast and set off for the full day game drives. While on this drive, you will be guided seeking out the unique black- manned Lions which you could have missed out the day before. You will drive up to the Mara river, where migration takes place. During the afternoon game drive, you will have a superb photographic opportunity, with an optional guided nature walk if desired. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Have breakfast then check out of your lodge and drive back to Nairobi
